25th Waso Robes Offering Ceremony of University of Cooperative and Management, Thanlyin was held at Multipurpose Hall on 26th July 2023 in UCMT. At the ceremony, the venerable monks led by Nyaung Thone Pin Monastery Sayadaw, Thein Kyaung Monastery Sayadaw, Aung Ta Kon Monastery Sayadaw, Aung Dhamma Yeikthar Monastery Sayadaw and Nareindaramika Monastery Sayadaw were present and Rector, Pro-Rectors, Professors (Head), teachers, staff and students attended the ceremony. Firstly, the ceremony was opened by reciting the “Namotassa” three times.

After that, Rector, Pro-Rectors, teachers, staff and students were received the five precepts from the venerable Sayadaw Bhaddanta Suuwunna of Thein Kyaung Monastery and offered waso robe, rice, oil, salt, medicine and cash to the venerable Sayadaws and listened to the sermon and paritta suttas and shared merits for the donations. After the ceremony, UCMT families offered day meals to members of the Sangha and a total of ks 2.33 million including cash and other offertories were donated at the 25th Waso Robes Offering Ceremony.
