Rector’s Cup Football Tournament was held at Thihadipa Stadium from 18th December 2023 to 22nd December 2023. A number of (6) football team including first year football team and AF football team, MM football team, AS football team, RD football team and SEM football team competed in this tournament. Final football match and award ceremony was held at 5:00 p.m on 22nd December 2023. Rector, Dr.Yi Yi Win, U Oo Tin Thein, Pro-Rector (Admin), Daw Myint Myint Sein, Pro-Rector (Academic), Professors and Heads from teaching departments, staff and students attended and viewed the match together. SEM football team and AS football team played against each other in the final match and AS football team won with a goal of 1: 0.

And then, Rector, Dr.Yi Yi Win awarded the first prize to AS football team championship trophy, cash and presented individual medals to football members. After that, Pro-Rector, U Oo Tin Thein awarded cash and individual medals to SEM football team that got the second prize and finally, U Zaw Moe Aung, Head of the Department of Academic Affairs awarded cash and individual medals to RD football team that got the third prize respectively.
