In commemoration of the 76th Independence Day, Poem, Essay and Impromptu Talk Competition was held at UCMT on 11th December 2023 and (44) undergraduate students participated in that competition. Then, Impromptu Talk Competitions organized by Department of Myanmar and English were held at Multipurpose Hall from 14th December 2023 to 15th December 2023 in order that students will improve their reading skill, critical thinking skill and public speaking skill as well as to be the youths filled with five strengths.

At that ceremony, Rector, Dr.Yi Yi Win, University of Cooperative and Management, Thanlyin, Pro-Rectors, Professors and Heads, Lecturers, Assistant Lecturers and students attended the ceremony and Rector, Dr.Yi Yi Win addressed the opening speech. On her speech, she said that these events are held to flourish the truly knowledge and insights, to be united, to produce well qualified students in all aspects and to maintain the patriotic spirits for students. A number of (7) students participated in Impromptu Talk in Myanmar held on 14th December 2023 and (8) students participated in Impromptu Talk in English held on 15th December 2023 and the winners on both competitions were awarded at the ceremony.
