In commemoration of the 76th Independence Day Funfair and Sport Competitions Award Ceremony (2024) was held from 1st January 2024 to 3rd January 2024 at UCMT. There are (11) sport events such as htoke-see toe competition (women), tug of war competition (men/women), snacks eating competition (men/women), sack jumping  competition (men/women), threading a needle competition (men/women), futsal football match (women), men’s/women’s 100-meter competition, sepak takraw competition (men), sittuyin (chess) competition (men), taking the seat competition (men/women), hitting zinc buckets competition (men/women) are included in that competition. Sport competition award ceremony was held at 2:00 p.m. Rector, Dr.Yi Yi Win addressed the honorable speech and she awarded the first and second prize winners of htoke-see toe competition, the three winners of taking the seat competition (teachers, staff) and the three winners of taking the seat competition (students). Then, Pro-Rector, U Oo Tin Thein (Admin) presented the prizes to the (7) winners in hitting zinc buckets competition and Professors and Head, Associate Professors/ Acting Heads, Subjects in charge presented the first, second and the third prize in respective sport events. Rector, Pro-Rectors, Professors and Head, Associate Professors/ Acting Heads, Subjects in charge, teachers and students attended and cheered at the ceremony.
