The closing ceremony of the Basic First Aid Training (1/2024), organized by the University Red Cross Society (Thanlyin) was held at the Multipurpose Hall, UCMT on 23rd July at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony was attended by U Oo Tin Thein Pro-Rector (Admin), and Heads of Departments of Academic and Administration, officials from Red Cross Supervisory Committee, Yangon Region, course instructors and (165) trainees from UCMT. At the ceremony, U Oo Tin Thein, Pro-Rector (Admin) and Dr.Yi Yi Tin, full-time executive professor of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, delivered the opening speeches and awards were presented to outstanding trainees by U Oo Tin Thein and Dr.Yi Yi Tin. U Nay Linn Htun, Deputy Commander of the Yangon Region Red Cross Supervisory Committee, presented the course completion certificates. The Basic First Aid Training, organized by the University of Red Cross Society, has been conducted since 2013, and this is the 8th batch up till now.
