The 26th Waso Robe Offering Ceremony of the University of Cooperative and Management, Thanlyin was held at Multipurpose Hall, UCMT on 24th July 2024. At the ceremony, the venerable Sayadaws from Visuddharama Chanmyathaya Aye Monastery, Nyaungthonepin Monastery, Narindaradhika Monastery and Aungdhamma Yektha Monastery graced the occasion. The Rector, Pro-Rectors, Heads of Departments, teachers, staff and students observed five precepts administered by the preciding sayadaw from Visuddharama Chanmyathaya Aye Monastery, Bhaddanta Kumara Ashin Thumyat and offered Waso robes, rice, oil, salt, medicine, cash and they listened to the Paritta chanting and shared merits for the donation. After the ceremony, the university families offered day meal to the members of sayadaw. The total value of the donated items and money at the 26th Waso Robe Offering Ceremony of the University of Cooperative and Management, Thanlyin was 3,761,800 MMK.
